Although a ranger realizes that man and beast need to hunt, they will actively protect any creature that they feel is endangered. As with all creatures, man is also considered worthy of protection. Lost travellers and those that become wounded while in a ranger's domain will also receive the same offer of assistance and healing.
By nature, rangers tend to be loners. This does not exclude them from human contact or companionship, but the duties of the ranger often take him or her many miles from civilization into the untamed heart of Thera.
