| At first glance, the common man is likely to mistake an ogre for a member of the giant races. Its face is often twisted in a cruel snarl as it charges forward to capture and kill its prey. It is considered slow-witted by some, but the brute strength and power of an ogre is its real weapon. Most ogres live in packs of clans deep in the forests and woods that they claim as their hunting range, but some have been known to give up the life of a hunter and take up the sword for wealth and power. An ogre is a lot smarter than it looks and this is evident in the way that it uses its dull-witted stare to lull unsuspecting prey within arms reach for a savage attack of arms, teeth and weapons. | to ignore the effects of the cold and their intelligence, while not considered the equal of a man, is enough to allow it to adapt and learn from past experiences. But as clever as an ogre may be, its less than average intelligence is a major downfall as it easily falls prey to tricks of the mind and those attacks that focus on the willpower of the ogre. Regardless of its mental shortcomings, the ogre is a deadly enemy that should not be underestimated. |
