An Ent is most commonly found in the forest and speaks a very slow and complex language of their own, with some elvish influence because it was the elves who first introduced them to the concept of speech. Ents are very protective of the forest and are not commonly seen because the concerns of the world outside the forest are of no interest to them. There are very few of them left anyway, and their existance is considered legendary by most other peoples of Thera. Some trees under the care of ents for a long time can start to become aware themselves, and able to move. These are called Huorns.
The skin of an Ent is hard like the bark of a tree, and affords the Ent some protection from physical damage. The largest weapon can be swept aside using a parry from a powerful limb.
