Race - Draconian
Once or twice in a generation there is born a child parented by a mortal race and a member of the dragon races.

This hybrid race of 'half-dragon' shares the best qualities of both parents while being able to pass for a mortal with exotic looks. Standing larger than most of the 'normal' examples of its mortal parent, a draconian often possesses unique hair, eye and skin colors and has a noble bearing and attitude regardless of the race of dragon that was responsible for its creation.

Adept at any craft that they choose to learn, a draconian possesses a sharp mind and powerful build that is characterized by stunning good looks.

Due to its dragon parentage, a draconian is resistant to all forms of fire and has an innate ability to detect the aura of magic that surrounds items and artifacts.
Little is known about the lifespan of a draconian, however some archmages have guessed that, due to the nearly immortal blood of the dragons that courses through its veins, a draconian could live nearly as long or longer than the Elves of Thera.
