| On Saturday November 20th, we celebrated the turning of a century in the life of Alice Fowler. | |

|
This poster greeted well-wishers at the door of
the Ephrata Manor Chapel. The center photo is Alice at 99. The
bottom photo is Alice as a baby. To the right is Alice and her
sisters with their dolls. And to the left is Alice as a young woman.
Below are 2 dresses that were on display at the party. On the left is the Christening Gown that Alice wore. It was handmade by her mother and sisters. This gown has since been worn by Alice's son, several grandchildren and great-granddaughter. On the right is Alice's wedding dress. It still fits! |

| Alice and her friend Edna deliver the mail to the nursing residents at the Ephrata Manor. As a tribute to Alice, her family purchased a mail cart. This will come in handy once all the Christmas cards start arriving! The cart was presented by son Larry. The director of the Manor added a special gift of a personalized baseball cap - it says "Head Mail Carrier Ephrata Manor". Alice was tickled with the gift, and as you can see it was loaded with presents and cards from her many well-wishers. | |
