ABOUT ME
Warning: This is the quickie, down and dirty version of Brian. It is not to be taken as gospel. It is not to be taken as a complete picture of who I am. It is but a blurry snapshot taken from a rapidly accelerating vehicle. I do not intend to update this much.

Things I DO NOT Enjoy:
| Anyone whose online profile lists "hangin' with friends" as a hobby. Get thee to a dictionary and learn the definition of 'hobby.' | |
| Anyone whose online profile comes with a picture, yet they feel the need to describe themselves as a "good looking guy." I'll be the judge of that, thank you! | |
| Smokers. Hate 'em. | |
| OK, here's one I might be assuaged to change my opinion on. Speaking of online profiles, I don't understand the ones that say, "I'm not into drama." Is ANYONE into drama? Is there someone out there, trawling through online profiles, saying, "Hmmm... not him. He doesn't want drama. I need that 24/7 adrenalin rush of always being in a state of crisis. Nope, he's not the guy for me." Please give me a good reason why someone would include this on their profile and I'll remove my complaint from this section. | |
| Republicans. Hate 'em. | |
| Tattoos. Yucky. | |
| Piercings. Owie. | |
| Drugs. Well, that's just stupid. | |
| This is really just me being anal retentive but the internet is not an excuse for poor spelling and punctuation. Seriously. Stop it. | |
| Broccoli. |
A Brief Bio:
As you can probably tell from the layout of this site, I'm a little bit goofy. A little bit Peanuts, a little bit Dr. Seuss, a little bit of a dreamer, a little opinionated. I really love to laugh. People who can make me laugh have a place in my heart forever. And while I'll never claim to be a genius, I enjoy being around people who can hold up an intelligent conversation on a wide variety of topics. I have a serious side that usually comes out when I'm being sincere.
I hope some people might take a look at this site and say, "He seems like an OK bloke" and want to strike up a conversation. Maybe even be friends. It's so hard to convey this on the internet. There are often expectations or strings attached. So if you're looking to make a friend, you've come to the right place. No expectations. No pressure. True, I've been lucky to have more things blossom from a friendship but that was never anything I set out to do; it just happened. I'm fiercely loyal to my friends and I'd do just about anything for them.
I moved to the Twin Cities in 2001 and haven't made a lot of new friends in that time. I hope to correct that soon.

*= Sigh. 5' 11", 185, Brown hair, blue eyes. God, you're nosy.
