April 1, 1964
A group of oyung men with vision and foresight, spurred by altruictic motives to help mold the moral and intellectual
life of the youth, banded themselves together to form and educational instuitution -the Cebu College of Commerce.
February, 1972
Approval by Securities and Exchange Commision (SEC)on the change of name of the institution from Cebu College of Commerce
to Cebu Central College (CCC).
May 8, 1992
Approval by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the change of name from Cebu Central Colleges to University
of Cebu (UC).
June 1, 1992
Atty. Augusto Go was installed as the first President of UC by the DECS Secretary Isidro D. Carino.
May 21, 1995
A satelite campus of UC, was opened at the vicinity of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue, hence UCLM.
April, 1999
UCLM has been approved as an international center of the City and Guilds of London Institute to offer Pitman
qualifications abd the following International Programs.

UCLM became an accredited Networking Academy for CISCO courses from Module I to Module 4.

Inauguration of the UCLM 7 -story annex building.
