| * you hear music on the radio, you start marking time *your walking behind someone and your in step with them *you try to guess the tempo of your favorite song *all your friends are in band *when people ask about your social life you say "O! you mean my flute?" *"armed gaured" means a girl with a pole, not a guy with a gun. *you remember sharps and flats more than you do the presidents name *you've named your instruments *you've seen your section more than your family *you have dreams about selling candy bars *you accidentally call your band director "dad" *reeds taste good *you subconsily start practicing with a pencil *You roll step through the cafitariea so you don't spill your food *your alone, and you suffacate because no one told you to breath *the band room is your second home, it is your home if you got it bad *you've actually been to band camp and consider it the hightlight of your summer *you recite the alphabet A-G and strat back at A again *someong could empty there spit valuve on your shoe and you wouldn;t care. *9/2 time scares the crap out of you,while dying a slow painful death with snakes doesnt scare you at all. *You don't describe people by going "she's got brown hair and blue eyes" you describe her by going "she's an alto sax" *your conductor is your hero *you can measure 5 yards with out a ruler-all you need to do is count the steps you take |
