| Mansion Spell 16th October 1989 Dear Diary, My heart is thumping hard. I am almost breathless. All I know is that I have to run and hide from them. They mustn't find and catch me. I'll be doomed to die if I'm caught. I feel warm. I feel hot. They're coming closer. What will happen to my friends and me? I know that it had happened before. Cindy 17th October 1989 Dear Diary, Today is my birthday. I am going to have a party. I'm sooo excited. I am going to be 16!!! I just can't wait. There are going to be lots of friends here. Let's see. 20? 30? Anyway, the party is going to start at 6:30pm. Did I mention that it's a sleep over party? Well, it is. My friends are going to go home at 9:00am tomorrow. We are going to have dinner, open the presents, cut the cake, then play hide and seek. I know, I know. It's a bit childish to play hide and seek when I'm going to be 16. Hey! Last night, I've got the creepiest dream. My friends and I sere actually playing hide and seek but the seeker was a GHOST! (or two). After all, a dream is a dream and it most probably won't come true, right? Cindy 17th October 1989 Dear Diary, "Cindy! Hurry up and help me set these balloons and the streamers or there won't be a party", mum called in one breath from downstairs. "Coming mum", I called back. I was trying to work out what to wear tonight. I couldn't make up my mind. I finally settled on my new jeans and my woollen yellow jumper. I then hurried down the stairs to join her. Cindy Tape by?(Unknown) A: Today I'm going to read a poem called `Dominating Sun'. The sun shone through the clouds And all the boredom were gone The birds began to sing As the trees swayed to the music The brightness took sadness away And everything was rejoicing But the clouds White at the top Black at the bottom What omen does this mean? (Silence) Phone: G: Hello? Cindy: Hi. May I speak to Dalphine please? I'm Cindy. G: Yes, hang on please. Dalphine: Hi Cindy. What's up? Oh! Happy Birthday. Cindy: Thanks. Are you coming over tonight? Dalphine: Yeah. I am, I've got a big present for you. But you'll just have to wait till tonight. Cindy: (sigh) Time just have to pass so slowly when you're waiting for a big event. Dalphine: I know. So how are the decorations going? Need any help? Cindy: No thanks. We're almost done. Have you done the English homework? Dalphine: Which one? |
