DEBKAfile Exclusive: First Disclosures from the Orient House Archives Robin Hood  in Reverse.  18 Aug Faisal Hussein, master and owner of Orient House, died suddenly in Kuwait on May 30 at the age of 61. As Palestinian  Authority Minister for Jerusalem Affairs, who turned his mansion into the unofficial symbol of the Palestinian claim to Jerusalem, he often received foreign diplomats. Israeli pro-Oslo politicians cultivated him as the archetypal Palestinian moderate.  In Kuwait, the local media in a Pavlovian response to his untimely death initially accused the Israeli Mossad of killing him. But a few days later, two Kuwait publi-cations carried an inconspicuous report revealing that a few hours before his death Hussein was seen in a loud shouting match with four very angry unidentified men in the lobby of his hotel.  With the help of the secret Orient House archives captured with the building by Israeli police last Friday, August 10, DEBKAfile  throws some light on this incident.

11 August: It took the Palestinians a few hours to grasp to the full the dimensions of Sharons bloodless coup in Jerusalem in retaliation for one of their most horrendous terrorist outrages since the onset of the Intifada last October. Before even the 15 victims of the Sbarro pizza parlor suicide bombing were buried Friday, among them seven children, Orient House and nine other Palestinian administration offices in Jerusalem and the outlying village of Abu Dis were lost, the symbols of the Palestinian claim to Jerusalem erased.  Saturday night found 15 terror victims still in hospital - one, Hannah Nahenberg, in grave danger from a nail from the bomb that pierced her heart. Saturday morning, a small knot of political figures  formed up for a protest march on Orient House led by the Palestinian politician Hanan Ashrawi and Israeli Arab Knesset member, Mohamed Barake. Israeli police blocked their path. In the ensuing scuffles, nine demonstrators were injured including Abdul Kader Husseini, son of the late Palestinian leader, Faisal Husseini, who made Orient House PLO headquarters. Last week at the Women in Black blasphemous demonstration [ who are these uncircumcised phillistines to mock the G d of Israel ] Meretz joined in with the abominable creatures.  One demonstrator talked with a young Kahane supporter telling him why Kahane was like hitler.  He then told the youth when he gets in charge he will remove all the Jews from Israel. No comment necessary.
