A little bird lived
Today we would call it stupid
But now there�s none left
They all died
What if we had them today?
What if they cured some disease?
We�ll never know
Their sundials were broken
Seems like a hundred years ago
A long dog lived
On a big island below the equator
It�s next door neighbour was a Devil
Seems like a hundred years ago
They were captured and killed
Probably �cause we didn�t understand
What if they made great pets?
Their hourglasses were shattered
Seems like today
A stripey cat lives
All over the forest
Burning bright
With roars like cannons
But they might disappear
Seems like today
We can do something
Stop zooing and poaching
We can keep their watches ticking
