PLACE

The Ferme de Courcimont is located in Nouan-le-Fuzelier, in the Loire valley. Every family will have their own room, with shower and bathroom facilities attached or beside the room. The facility is near several Loire attractions. Contact Scott Stearman with any questions.

COST

All meals, lodging, and fees are included in the 600 FF per adult charge. This includes two nights, and 6 meals. Children ages 6 to 12 are 400 FF; ages 1 to 5 are 300 FF. Don’t let cost be a factor - scholarships are available.

Whether you are new to Emmanuel or an old-timer of say, 2 years, I hope you will make this retreat a priority for you and your family.

This is the fifth year we have taken a Spring Retreat. The retreat, as much as any other single event, helps transform us from a group into a church, from a weekly social event, into a ministering community.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. This year we are blessed to have special guests who are exceptional in their speaking and singing abilities. However, as exceptional as they may be, you and your family are the real ingredients that will make this retreat a success.

PROGRAM PERSONNEL

Retreat Leaders: Emmanuel of Paris, has developed a partnership with the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Alexandria, Louisiana. The pastor, Larry Taylor, and the music minister, Jerry Cauley, are coming to lead in the Bible Studies, and worship time.

Children’s Program: Patricia Wohler is helping to coordinate a great program for the children. We will have quality workers, with quality material, so that this proves to be a fun & learning time for our kids.

Youth: David Baamonde is putting together a program for the mid and high school youth. It sounds like the program he is planning will be fishy.
