Reflection

The Community Project was pretty different from the other writing assignments I had to do in English 103. With this project I had to work in a group in order to collaboratively write a report on the United Way.  Before we could actually start writing our report on the United Way, we had to do some research on the United Way, which required us to do an interview with a representative of the United Way. During the course of this project, we had some trouble getting an interview with a representative. We were able though to get an electronic interview by emailing the representative. There was also an abundant amount of information that we had to work with due to the fact that the United Way is a well known organization in the United States and Internationally. By doing this project I gained a better understanding of what United Way does for communities and what it takes to be a successful organization.
