Reflection
The
argument essay was the first paper that I had to do for English 103. This paper
required research, so that I could argument my point in this paper better. I
already had some research skills from argument essays that I had done in high
school. In high school though, I used just any random source, instead of a credible
source which would have made my essays more credible. For this essay I had to
make sure that all of the sources that I used in my paper were credible, so
that my essay would not look like it was thrown together. I think for this
paper I did a good job of organizing and presenting the argument that I had. One
problem that I had writing this paper was how to make transitions from one
paragraph to the next. I think that this is a problem I had with writing a lot
of my argument essays throughout high school too. Also some of the quotes that
I used in this paper were not used properly and were not explained within the
paper, so I think that is something I need to work on. Other than those couple
of things I believe I did well.
