Paradise
No pressure to be pretty, no need to be clever,
Swimming in the sea since the first of Never.
Alone but not lonely, no friends and no foes,
Nothing but moments, and plenty of those.

The sun streaming through the sycamore trees,
I dance and I laugh and I pray on my knees.
I've stopped chasing all my spare time down the sink,
So now I can ponder and wonder and think.

No exams and no coursework to worry about,
No friends and no family stressing me out,
I'm not getting older, I'm not getting fat.
There's nothing but peace now, and plenty of that.
