On June 16, 1990 my mom received a baby full of red hair (a fear on my mother since she was young) named Amanda Marie Rafuse. I don’t remember anything the day I was born, but my mom says that all the pain was somehow worth it… I wouldn’t agree with her. My mother’s name is Vicki Lynn Rafuse and then she married the best man I know, my father Harold Rafuse Jr. My mom is very smart, loving, and one of the best friends a girl could have. On the other hand, she still is my mom, and is the one that punishes me when I do something wrong. My dad is the funniest, and most sarcastic person I know. He is constantly playing jokes on me, and when I truly need to laugh he works extra hard to do so. Although I am an only child, I still have to share my parent’s faithful love with my three pets. I have a dog, Pudden, a cat, Lightning, and a mouse Special Ed. My pets mean the world to me, because I have no siblings to talk to. So when I really need to talk, I just pick a pet, and talk to them. Freaky but they always are there for me. Also on September 8, 1983 my mom’s sister, Kathy Leigh Baker was born. She is like my sister, I talk to her about anything and everything, and without her, and I don’t think I could survive. That’s my family and I’m sticking to it.

Some of the things I like to do with my spare time are latch hook. I just picked up this habitat, but I have to say its very fun. I also like to make things; I made a pot last weekend. I had clay everywhere, but little things like that make the world so wonderful. Another thing is poetry; when you can’t talk to someone about your daily life, write it down. I have cried and cried but somehow, writing my emotions on paper, is the best way I know how to deal with life. I am also very active in after school actives, I am in the “Beta Club,” and “Yearbook Staff.” I have loads of fun while I’m there; I get to help my community while chilling with friends, what could be better. And what girl doesn’t love shopping. I love just going to the “Orange Park Mall,” buying everything in “PacSun,” would be my dream. It’s so fun trying on new clothes for school, making sure they match, and just seeing if they match your eye color. I also enjoy talking on the phone, and chatting. I am hardly ever off “AIM” or “MSN Messenger.” My mom is like “Amanda you need to get off the Internet, and save some electricity.” But how can you resist the joy in talking to your friends, face-to-face, or just font-to-font. LOL

Some of my favorite colors are, yellow and HOT PINK!!!! I also love Mac-n-cheese, and salads. My favorite holiday is the Fourth of July, because everyone is so patriotic. My favorite football team is of course GATORS, anyone that doesn’t like them, are not welcome here, just playing. My favorite television show is “Charmed on WB.” My favorite movie is “2 fast 2 furious.” I also enjoy bassin’ out to “GET LOW” any time I hear it on the radio. My favorite place to be is “Grandfather Mountain, in Boone North Carolina.” My favorite restaurant is “Ruby Tuesdays.” Well I am all out of favorites, lets move on to North Carolina.

My favorite place in the world to be is North Carolina. I moved there for six months when I was two. I played in the snow, and smelled the fresh air. I was like heaven. Everyday up there was perfect. I knew no one but someone it somehow that didn’t matter. It seemed like I wasn’t living, because everything was too perfect. I would go to “Grandfather Mountain” everyday with my mom for picnics. I would feed the baby bears, and deer’s peanuts. And watch the chipmunks try to steal any food they could find. The air was so clean; I never had any allergy problems. I never got sick. I mean we have a little cabin away from the world, and would just live up there like we were the only people in the world. I mean I would miss all my friends back home, but somehow every year my family and I go back, to a little piece of heaven.

Some of my life goals are to become a psychologist. I know to my friends it may seem like I have all the problems, maybe I do. But I have always wanted to help everyone in some way. I am always getting into peoples business trying to fix, broken friendships, or just heal a little fight. I hate to see people unhappy so I figure that becoming a psychologist is the only way I can help. I also plan on going to the Jr. College for two years, then going to Gainesville, for four to eight years. I also want to become a loving mother of two, hopefully a boy and girl. I also want to get married, but not until I am at least twenty-three. I have always wanted to help out someone I don’t know that is in a nursing home, by paying for them to live in there own house with a full time physician. These are some of my goals, I may not fulfill them all, but I sure will try.

I owe all my happiness to my family and friends that make my day worth living. Emily, she is the most outrageous, and kindhearted person I know, she is always there for me, even if I embarrass her along the way. Amanda, she is like my soul sister, you can never find her without me, and visa-versa, even though we fight, fate will always bring us back together. Aleece, we didn’t meet each other until I had your mom for a teacher, but when I met you I knew that nothing would ever separate us, and besides who is going to be there for me when I have to ramble about guys. Courtney, is so sweet, I haven’t known her long, but I feel like I have known her a lifetime. Kaycee, she is so funny, and isn’t afraid of anything, KC is so loving that if someone doesn’t like her then they must be trippin. Alysha, is like my big sister, she will never let anyone pick on me, without hurtin back.  Alaisa, she is so funny, and is always checking out guys, she also is there for me when I truly just need a hug. Mary-Beth, she is so smart, and sweet, Mary-B may seem quiet but she can be crazy. John, he is so sweet, and is always there for me when I truly need someone, he is always being crazy, and trying to be all that, but for an eleven year old he is pretty cool, and nice. Jake, he is like the brother I never had, he isn’t afraid to tell me my hair looks bad, but always knows when not to mess with me, he is always sweet and loving.  Matt is like my home dawg, he is so funny, has the girl nails...   Preston, he is the person I have little love (inside joke), he never picks on me and always has a way to make me happy and smile. These are the people that God sent from heaven to make my day the best day ever. Whether you just need to talk to someone, or a shoulder to cry on call one of these people and there will always be there for you.
