Rehearsal Notes

1. Small ensemble subset of Folk Orchestra rehearsed "One Voice"
2. Entire Folk Orchestra Rehearsed "Oleander"
3. Emily P. and Brian reported on results of their meeting with a representative from the company that installed the sound system in the church. We have received a quote for a new amplifier and new monitors that are of a higher quality than the "consumer products" we were originally looking at. Higher quality also means higher price, so we are looking for some financial assistance from another funding source. This new equipment could be used by the church at large, and not just the Folk Orchestra. It would not be portable, but portable PA systems can be rented from Pianos n Stuff for about $50.
4. Rehearsed "Muddy Roads", which considerably less muddy after special run through(s) for the bass player.
5. Faith collected donations for the Pews & Planks project.
6. We are playing at both services this Sunday, and we will need to have a solid rehearsal beforehand. So, please arrive at the church at 8:15AM so that you are tuned, set up and ready to go by 8:30AM.
