| U.A.I. FESTIVAL |
| Hi Folks, my Aim is get you to understand what is this Independent Theatre Festival held for the firts time in Reggio Emilia, Italy, Autumn, 2004. First it's a cousin of the Bay-area One Acts Festival called B.O.A. held in San Francisco, for the very first time, at Eureka Theatre February, 2002 by Three Wise Monkeys Th. Co. Second it's the Festival following BOA Italia happened in Bologna, May 2003 at Teatro del Navile. Third is a complete new thing. |
| A jury composed by 6 theatre professionals workers (3 directors, 2 actresses, 1 University Teacher at Italian Department of Columbia University of New York), read and vote 25 One Acts chosen among 77 One Acts received before the deadline of May 31st 2003 from all Italy. The best 15 One Acts written by young Italian Playwrights were offered to young directors living near Reggio Emilia. Now we have the Festival. The Picture above is from Teatro Piccolo Orologio , a 114 seats venue where we run the first two weeks. Second Venue will be Teatro Re-gi�, a big 400 seats venue, well known for his indipendent season, and we run there another week of the Festival.
