Breathe

Breathe in deep this liquid air
In this swirling, silent womb
The murky depths call out to thee
From the Virgin Holy land, untouched, unbound

Inferno lungs consume thy thoughts
Blasting back the Siren's doom
Lashing out against the Virgin current
A merciful angel, a tidal assassin

One quiet cry to the sufrace sky
Rage give way to serenity
The lifespan of a breath
The star lit refraction rises to naught

Breathe no more this murder fluid
Consigned at last to the Muddied Tomb
A final kiss on indigo lips to starlight lost
Then turn to the Virgin's cold embrace
