| PRE-PROM FUN |
| Not only this weekend was prom, but it was All-State for the state of Arizona. A friend of mine Paul, was coming up to escort the blind kid, Ricarado who made it for choir. Friday, my band teacher was at the all-state rehearsals helping out and attending meetings, so we had a subsitute. Usually in class we watch Sally and Jerry Springer, since we nothing, becuase of the screwed up scheduling we have. Well anyways, we begged the sub to allow us to leave so that all of us could go to see the all-state rehearsals, I got premission from my dad, since he is adminstarter at a local high school, and the sub knew my dad because of my brother playing football. so I got out. The sub told the rest of the group that he would let them go, only if they would take an abscent, the rest of hte people agreed and we all headed across town to watch the rehearsals. Well, we hit a snag they werent at a reahearsal, all the all-state kids ere treated to a concert givinen by NAU. We watched most the Wind Symphony, and during the break to set up for the orchrastra, we went to the lobby, I saw Mr. Killian, Pauls and Ricardo's choir director, and asked him, were he was and he told me so I left the group and went and looked for them. I actually did find them whihc was a miracle in its self. So I sat down and watched the rest of the concert with Paul and Ricardo. I went to the choir rehearsals, with Paul, and Ricardo was doing fine by himslef, so me and Paul wnet for a wlak around a part of the campus. Which was nice, to walk around and talk. Well we got back, and talk to mr. Killian, and we decieced to go to see a movie. after the rehearsals were over. I left and went home to go change and get some stuff for the movie. I met up with thme at the movie theatre. Mr. Killian and Ricardo went to see Enemy at the Gates and paul and I went and saw Cocridle Dundee in LA. It was a fun night by all, we parted our ways. |
