“Oh my God… I wanna say thank you, but
how stupid does that sound?” I laughed, running my hand over his chest
afterward. “Definitely not a problem,”
he said, and rolled to face me. “You’re
welcome, I guess,” he whispered, and kissed me. He was a great kisser, too.
The man was perfect, I swear. He
pulled back and looked past me into the darkness. Or rather at the clock.
“Shit! It’s 3!” he moaned, and I
shrugged. “You can catch a cab, and I know
my two people are still in the club.
And if they wanna leave they have my keys.” AJ sat up. “The clinic
people are doing a check at ten to make sure everyone made it back.” I pulled him back down. “AJ, you have seven hours to get back,
ok? If you freak out, I’m gonna freak
out, and then it’ll be a big mess. So
just let me enjoy this seven… well, six and a half hours, ok?” I said, and
smiled. AJ relaxed, and gathered me
into his arms. “For you, I’ll be a
little late,” he said, and we made love again… and again.
At eight, AJ got out of bed and into
the shower. I couldn’t blame him, I felt
kinda sticky myself. “Mind if I join
you?” I asked, peering my head around the doorframe of the bathroom. “If you don’t mind a bathtub shower, then
come on in,” he replied, and put two towels on the counter. I yawned as I stepped into the small bathroom. “You need to wake up,” he said to me from
the shower, and I stepped in with him.
“You wanna wake me up?” I queried, sliding my hands around his waist. I put my head on his shoulder and kissed his
neck lightly. I felt him shudder, and
he turned to face me. “You sore?” he
asked, and I shook my head. He grabbed
my upper arms roughly, and I looked up.
“Good,” he said, then lifted me up against the wall. Yet again, the best sex I’d ever had.
Finally, at nine, we had to leave
the motel. A cab was called, and AJ and
I raced back to the clinic. I asked the
driver to wait a minute while I said goodbye to AJ. “And you’re still gonna call me, right?” I asked, half
serious. He smiled and kissed my
forehead. “No question,” he answered,
and walked into the building. I sighed
as he moved away, but got back into the cab.
“Long night?” the cabbie asked, and I smiled in remembrance. “Yeah, it was.” And then my smile faded as I remembered something else… we hadn’t
used a condom, and I’d stopped taking my Ortho a few months ago because I’d
figured I hadn’t needed it. I looked
out the window of the cab at the clinic.
My head and my heart were now in conflict.
