Tahquamenon Falls
Tahquamenon Falls in located in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Locally known as the U.P.

Just north of Paradise are the state parks which house the falls. The upper falls are accesable by stairs and are the larger of the two. In fact, they are the second largest falls east of the Mississippi. The lower falls are a lot of fun as you can rent a boat and paddle out to a little island and walk around there and play in the falls.

Scott and I went there while camping in the summer of 1995. I couldn't even tell you where the campsite that Scott found was because I was asleep when we got there. Just north or Taq falls is a little peninsula called Whitefish Point that is well worth the time going there.
