Ok I admit it: I didn't spend much time here.

I was very lucky though, I got to the visitor's center 10 minutes after it was supposed to have closed and they just happened to be holding a grand opening ceremony that day for a new exhibit. There were people milling around in period costume and no one seemed to mind that I snuck in to get some information on the park and a stamp.

I'm going to have Brian write up a little something on this park since he lives 5 minutes from it. Stay Tuned for that.

Me and Brian in front of the memorial. We are holding the now deceased hermit crab Goya. Brian was trying to bring Goya home for the weekend and we think he died of car sickness or something. By the time we got home the snail was eating him. Ooops. I still owe Brian a new hermit crab.
