| Name: Hiwatari Kai Age: 14-15 (season1) Bit beast: Dranzer Personelity: Proud, lone, mysterious. He was raised to always lust for power and is a real prefectionist. But there is a small child burried under that though guy image and sometimes its curiousity surfaces. Weakness: Would claim to have none, but it seems to be he is always underestimating his foes. Kai is a lone wolf who always acts tough, rarely talks and really knows how to bey-battle. When he first appears it is with a group of bullies called the blade/shell sharks. He automatically seems to hate Tyson, or appears to. Yet even from the start you get the idea that he is like most bullies, he has a deep sorrow that brings him down. He ios given not as much focus as the others until right at the end of the series. His personnailty devolped throughout the series. Here how he acted throught out the series: -First episodes of the first tournement: A lonier and a bully with some deep inner problems floating inside of him. -Asian tournement: Didn't want to know his teamates went with them as part of the team but not WITH the team if you know what I mean. -American Tournement: After being told by hif grandfather to find all the different kinds of bit-beast in America he because a semi-spy for his grandfather. He shows off to Emily how strong he is and even shows signs of responibly and care for his teamates. -Europeon Tour: He did a lot more blading this time, showed a real concern for his teamates (except when he abandoned Kenny to the dark bladers) and tried hard to get his blade strong. He absolutely hated loosing to Johnny. -Black Dranzer saga: there was a lot of Kainess in these eps. Kai's dark personelity came out and he turned evil. He finally found the blade he was looking for black dranzer. Kai's atheletic abilties came out in full and by the end of it he returns to the Blade breakers renewed and a different person. He was (according to the season1 TV series) born in a abbey in Russia and raised to be the strongest blader in the world. He left the abbey after stealing a new beyblade called the black Dranzer. According to the head scinctist there, Boris, his little 'stunt' almost destroyed half the abbey and Kai simply blocked all memory of it from his mind (though I don't believe it). Indeed when we first meet him he is looking for the ultimate beyblade a.k.a Black Dranzer. He seems to be Boris' favourite pupil and you certainly get that idea from the black dranzer saga where Kai became evil. The last few episodes show as different Kai. Now he has broken away from his dark past and is 'reborn' personality wise. He seems to have suddenly starting being really good friends with Tyson and they even train together in the episode 'New and Cyber improved'. Overall most people who don't have that much respect for Kai end up with a lot once they have seen the sort of life he has been put through. Other info: In the manga, he was given Dranzer by Shippu No Jin(g), most people who have seen the TV theorise it was his grandfather who gave him Dranzer. Also many other sites suggest that Kai lived with his parents and had a father he really loved. He was taken away at about 6 years old by his grandfather (who he hated). However after searching for hours for evidence, NO ONE who claims this info seems to actually have PROOF of this. Thus I am taking the 'I don't believe it until I see it routine!'.
