'Industrial Property for Sale'
"Are you absolutly sure you heard it from here?" A young girls voice broke the days of silence.
A metal object scraped the floor. "For the hundreth time, Yes! Now keep it down an' get ta work." A different girl's voice broke through the darkness, giving him hope.
Another metal object could be heard through the wall. "This wall?" A third girl asked as tapping began on the wall in front of him.
"Yes, this wall." the second girl said sarcasticly. "It's the newest one in this old building, isn't it?" The tapping of a hammer and chizle could now be heard clearly. It stopped as a brick was removed. "You gonna stand there an' watch or you gonna help?"
"Smells like somethin' died in there." The first girl stated, working on a second brick.
"Keep it down and keep working." The second girl replied. There was a click and the sound of pop music blaring through a boom box. "Turn that damn thing off!"
"Ok..Ok" The first girl stated. "I jus work better ta music." They first girl replied.
"How'd you find this place, anyway?" The third girl asked, working on the third brick.
"Duenna ask, jus' work." The second girl, obviously in charge, said, working on the fourth brick."
"Wait a minute.....You didn't..." The third girl stopped working, as if realising something unmentionable.
"Not with..." The first girl also stopped, the second girl removing four more bricks.
"Bobby?!" They exclaimed in unison.
"SHHHHHS!" The second girl growled quietly. "No. I wouldn't stoop that low." She removed two more bricks. "Now keep it down before someone hears us and we get arested for tresspassing, breaking and entering and damaging private property."
"An' ruin your perfect record. Heaven forbid." The third girl said sarcasticly.
"SHHHHH! I don't want anyone to hear us." The second girl stated in an angry growel.
"Like, who is gonna hear us in an abandoned building?" The first girl asked in a sarcastic tone.
"Like me?" Hank McCoy asked with a tired voice through the six missing bricks.
"You say that?" The third girl asked.
"Nnno. Dddid yyyou?" The first girl studdered.
"Think maybe.....?" The second girl more or less suggested.
"You look." The third girl suggested, pushing the first girl, a blond from what he could see from the lantern light. She bumped the wall, knocking a few loose bricks on to him.
"Ouch!" He cried out in minor pain. "If you are attempting to rescue me, you seem to be doing a lousy job at it."
The three slowly moved closer to the opening, now near ten bricks, blocking the lamp light. Beast saw the three sets of eyes staring at him, dark blue, golden/green and pale blue/gold. "Hello." He purred.
"AAARRRHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" They screamed in unison. The first girl brought a crobar down, attempting to hit him but hit the wall instead, bringing the whole top of it down on him, knocking him out.
"Great." The dark alburn hair girl said with an irratated sigh. "Now how do we get him out?"
"Sorry." The blond girl said in a child like voice.
"I say we should make her carry him out." The alburn haired girl said sarcasticly as the onyx haired girl checked on Beast.
"Look. I said I'm Sorry!" The blond snapped angerly. "He scared me."
"Get the gerney." The black haired girl ordered, irratatd with them both.
The blond took a look at it. "The wheels busted." She informed them.
"Then fix it." The dark haired one snapped.
"You want it so bad, You fix it." The red head snapped.
"Forget it." The brunette growled, disappearing with McCoy, leaving the two to stare at empty shackles.
3:35am..........
A ringing phone breaks the silence of night. "Hello?" A voice as soft as velvet answered it.
"Yes, Serina MacPhearson please."
"Speaking." She replied.
"This is officer Johnson at the 22nd pecenct, we have your ward in custody." He replied.
"Moreylla or Breanna?"
"Both." He replied.
"I'm on my way." She told him, hanging up the phone. She walked over to an I.V., injecting a mild sedetive into its tube, then checking the restrants. "I shant be long, big fella." She told him, moving a medical tray. "Try not to tear the place up while I'm gone." She purred, grabbing a set of keys as she walked out the door.
An hour later.(and after alot of smooth talking.)......
"Thanks alot, Serina. The least you could have done was take us with you." Breanna (the blond) stated sarcasticly.
"Taking in concideration the mass of both he and I, I didn't want to risk failure." Serina (blood red to black haired, or brunette) replied, cooly.
"Then why didn't you come back for us?" Moreylla inquired cooly.(the dark alburn haired)
"By the time I took care of his severe wounds, you were gone." Serina replied. "Besides, I figured you heard them comming and blended in."
"She snapped at me for hitting the wall." Breanna explained in a pout.
"You should have more control of yourself." Moreylla groweled.
"You both should." Serina snapped angerly. "I told you both to be quiet, but do you listen?" She groweled, parking the car. "No!" She didn;t let them answer, getting out of the car, walking into the building. "Now get cleaned up and help me tend to our guest's minor injuries." She ordered, going in to a different room.
Breanna stared at an empty doorway. "Who the hell does she think she is? Our mother?" She asked angerly.
Moreylla opened the fridge, grabbing a Dr.Pepper. "No." She began, opening it and taking a drink. "Worse. The oldest." She replied, walking away to change.
Breanna clinched her fists. "Tis far from over, sweet sister." She groweled, going to her room.
Weeks later...........
"Who the hell do you think you are?" Breanna began in an angry low growel. She could hold a grudge like no other. It was something Serina was quite use to. "Tellin; us what to do as if you own us."
"After what I paid for your bail, I should own you. Not to mention what I paid to have the charges dropped." Serina replied, checking a slide on her microscope, adjusting her glasses.
Moreylla walked in on this with a tray of sandwhichs, seeing their patient awake. "I'm sorry about the restraints, Mr. McCoy, we weren't sure if you'd be...."
"Beastial." He finnished for her as she released him.
"Calm." She replied with a smile. "I'm Moreylla MacGreggor. That over there is my cousins Breanna, the hot head, MacPhearson and our benefactress, Serina MacPhearson. Your personal...."
"If you duenna have this incureable need to add him to your teaddy bear collection, Wewouldn't have been there in the first place!" Breanna groweled.
"What was I to do?" Serina said with a sigh. "He was reaching out for help. Was I just suppose to ignore him? My Gods, I am not with out compassion, Bre. He needed help so Wehelped him."
"An' Moreylla an' I ...." Bre began.
"They do this often?" Hank asked, watching the two argue. This Serina sure seemed able to keep her cool with all the accusations her sister threw at her, it fascinated him.
"As most siblings do.....Yes. And too often it gets ugly." She replied, handing him a sandwhich.
"Cat fight?"
"More like bird fight." She replied. "Um...Guys?"
"Shut up, Moreylla!" Bre snapped. "had to pay for it!"
"Oh really?" Serina turned on her. "If my bank account is accurate, I believe I paid for it. To the tune of $135,000." She said cooly, seeing for the first time that McCoy was awake and eating a sandwhich.
Moreylla sat on the edge of his bed, eating a sandwhich with him. "Um, guys?"
"What!" Breanna snapped, turning around.
"Ah, sleeping Bluety?" Moreylla said, knodding her head toward Beast, who was waving, wiggiling his fingers at the with a smile.
Serina approached him, her hand out stretched. "I'm Dr. MacPhearson." She introduced herself. "How do you feel?"
"Sore and confused." He replied. "I don't remember calling out to you."
"Tol' ya." Brea groweled under her breath.
"The subconscious is a very picular thing, Dr.McCoy." Serina began, checking his bandages. "It protects us whether we know it or not. I believe it was, to be specific, 'Professor, please hear me. Help me. Brand Corperation. The wall'."
"Are you a telepath?" He asked, impressed at her accuracy.
She smiled. "Among other things." She replied. "Now I'm not too clear as to who this 'Professor' is. So if you give me a number, we'll let him know where you are."
"The Xavier institute." He told her.
Serina turned to Breanna. "I'm on it." She replied, leaving the room.
"How long have I been here?" He asked as the two checked him and updated his chart.
"Near three weeks now, Dr. McCoy." Moreylla replied, writing information down as Serina said it to her.
They were amazing. Moreylla could listen to two different conversations and write everything down as if the second conversation didn't distract her. And Serina seemed able to remember a multitude of things as if she had just seen them. "I'm afraid you developed an infection." Serina continued. "High fever and delirium, I felt it better if you continued to sleep while
