The
Turtle's Example
A turtle can teach us a
lesson;
In why we should never quit;
Because if a turtle were to
quit trying;
How far would it get?
A turtle just keeps on
walking;
Until its journey is done;
If it were to quit trying;
It
would be defeated before it begun.
The turtle is persistent;
And
takes one step at a time;
It knows that if it takes another
step;
Any mountain it will climb.
A turtle may be very
slow;
But it does what it has to do;
By winning its battles one step
at a time;
It's an inspiration to me and you.
So let's follow
the turtles example;
And win our battles a step at a time;
For we
find that like the turtle;
There's no mountain we can't climb. |
