Heart's Leap

My heart hurts and I don't know why

I just continue to sit and to stare and to cry.

I think of thoughts, visions, realities and lies

Jumbled together, so quickly my mind flies

Wondering all the time the question,

How come and why?

Looking for a reason, futile I know

But I also have this need to say

A need that continues to grow

"I refuse to break under a cowards blow."

Love and hate, yours and mine,

Fears and faces forever continuously intertwined.

Do you not understand? All Gods have spoken.

Yours and mine.

Listen hard, listen well...

Our destinys are intertwined

Not decided by fate,

But by the actions of man.
