~ An Uncommon Wind ~   by Dennis J. Hopkins

I feel the call of an uncommon wind
beckoning all who would follow it
Leave all your sorrows behind you
and create what will be tomorrow
Set sail on your hopes and dreams
and allow them to lead you home
Do not despair uncharted waters,
but flow with them as with me
I will show you the heights of ecstasy
and the valleys of your darkest fears,
so that you might choose more wisely
about whom you desire to become
I will show you gray shadows
which defy the clarity you crave,
so that you might choose more wisely
about whom you desire to become
I will show you all manner of things
and that which might become reality,
so that you might choose more wisely
about whom you desire to become
I promise you nothing but the truth
and the open opportunity to learn,
so that you might choose more wisely
about whom you desire to become
Do you dare come with me
to look in the mirror
and then tell me,
whom do you see
as you choose your destiny
