                                             SOMETIMES
                                               by Leona Ebling

Sometimes I feel like a child again. Is it because I am getting old?
Sometimes I need someone to hold my hand or speak an encouraging word.
Sometimes I get scared, fearful of how I can face tomorrow and all the problems it brings.
Sometimes I feel lonely, depressed, sad and blue about any number of things.

Sometimes I feel I just can't face another long night at work, my body's too tired,
my mind  befuddled with stress
Sometimes I walk in my own willful way when I know Lord you did not answer "Yes."
Sometimes the only way I can get to sleep at night
Is to hold your word close to my heart and talk to you Lord real quiet.

Sometimes!  Sometimes!  Sometimes!  Sometimes I just need a friend close by;
Sometimes I can not sing or pray or to even talk to you dear Lord, I just cry.
Sometimes when I feel no one has time for me though I really understand
How busy they are just trying to survive and need someone to hold their hand--
Sometimes when I feel no one, just no one is there for me.

In those sometimes I feel your hug, your holding my hand...Thank you Lord!
You are always there for me!
