Dying Bravely by Beth Wildstein

Days so long
Love so true
Couldn't stand
To watch you
Feeling so blue

I sat by your side
I held you tight
I prayed for you
While I watched you fight

You held on tight
To life so cruel
How I admired
The braveness in you

When you died
I felt God had lied
But then I realized
You were set free
And now the person
Who has to be brave
Is me.
