WHO IS A HERO?
A hero is a mother, sending her son off to war.
A hero is father, who cries silently evermore.
A hero is a fireman, fighting horrid flames.
A hero is a policeman, he's daily in war games.
A hero is our doctors, staying awake in case he's needed.
A hero is our nurses, in kindness they've succeeded.
A hero is our teachers, our children she protects.
A hero is God's leaders, for them we have respect.
A hero is our president, not afraid to shed a tear.
A hero are the men who fight, to keep our country dear.
A hero is a lot of people, if we could only see,
A hero that's behind the lines, protecting you and me.
Each and every soul that died, has suddenly made me see
A hero has no definition, you can be one suddenly.
Just like the men who saved our lives, taking down the plane.
If we had told them they'd be hero's , they would think of us insane.
Hero derives from a word called love, so it's easy to be,
A hero, in the eyes of someone, you gave to generously.
Without love there is no hope, so in this tragedy.
Be brave, be American, be noble, and form this strategy.
Give your blood, give your time, give money you can spare,
Lend a helping hand, when another's in despair,
Hug a child, give a smile to someone who needs to know,
That they are loved, and soon you'll be your very own HERO.
Love and peace and sympathy to the families.
