Today's Message: Endorsement
The last couple days were a real booster to my new endeavors. I took two
pieces of my watercolor paintings to a charity fundraiser art auction for
"Partners for Family Farms" . One of a reflection of a barn in a pond
called "Double Image" sold for $275. The person who bought the
painting works in the department of agriculture at the University of Kentucky
and will put this in her office. Then today as I visit our state capitol to turn
in an application for a juried show Visual Arts at the Market, I stopped in a
little used bookstore to browse. After talking a few minutes to the owner, she
decided to buy six of my books at wholesale for her shop to resell. Then when I
returned home, another author sent me a copy of a review of my book that she
sent in to Amazon. It is such a phenomenal feeling to realize others are
interested in my creative efforts; my watercolor paintings and my book Women
Emerging Courageous. I feel very honored.

Thoughts to Ponder by Betty King
What has been the biggest adversity in life you have
What did you learn from having gone through the trial
Unforgetable Quotes:
"Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!" author unknown
Thoughts worth contemplating:
“Stand
still,” my soul, “stand still” and you will see
How
God can work the “impossible” for thee."

~~ When We Share ~~ author unknown
When we share laughter,
There's twice the fun;
When we share success,
We surpass what we've done.
When we share problems,
There's half the pain;
When we share tears,
A rainbow follows rain.
When we share dreams,
They become more real;
When we share secrets,
It's our hearts we reveal.
If we share a smile,
Then our love shows;
If we share a hug,
Then our love grows.
If we share with someone
On whom we depend,
That person becomes
Family or friend.
And what draws us closer
And makes us all care,
Is not what we have,
But the things that we share.

*Postscript: The world is opening it's doors to me and I seem to be open and receptive to the opportunities presented to me. It is a glorious feeling. May you be open to what the world has to give you as well. Marilyn [email protected]
