Today's Message: Waiting Patiently
As spring has come and the weather is turning beautiful, we tend to get out and scratch around in the dirt a little. We remove the dead debris from last year's plants. The leaves are raked and new mulch applied. Some bulbs or new cuttings are planted. Then we watch and wait. As we spot the budding plants and flowers, our pleasure grows as we see new life emerging. The garden is tilled and new plants placed tenderly in the earth. During that time, we enjoy the first plants as they sprout as if by magic. As we faithfully water and care for the new plants, we wait expectantly for the fruits of our labor. Life is that way. Oftentimes we wait, with expectation and sometimes things materialize as anticipated and sometimes not. Waiting patiently is always worth the effort. Then we can be surprised whatever happens.
