***Today's Message: God's Purpose

Betty King's newsletter includes her "Questions to Ponder" that always stimulate a lot of thought. One she sent recently that I have contemplated time and again is "What is God's Purpose for your life?" Last night when getting ready to watch the news, Oprah Winfrey on her "after the show program", said she felt like she realized she was fulfilling her purpose in life as she was helping thousands of children in Africa. All the steps up to this point and her celebrity was to lead her to accomplish this phenomenal feat (with the help of many others) but mainly she was carrying out God's purpose for her. She reminded others that we need to enjoy the journey because each step is a step in that process to fulfilling our purpose. I still think she will have more of those moments as she reaches out to help others.
