Today's Message: Montezuma's Revenge
After climbing the pyramids in Chinchin Itza, snorkeling the reefs off
Cancun, and swimming with the dolphins at Isla Mujeres, I brought home
Montezuma's revenge. It gave me more than an extra week of rest and
recuperation, weakened by the intestinal bug. It didn't dampen my enjoyment of
my trip or the pleasure of memories sparkled by the many photos I took. It was
certainly a fantastic experience and I brought back a fresh appreciation of all
that I have, especially my home after seeing the meager living accomodations in
Mexico. I will be looking forward to eating American cuisine again as Mexican
food is not to my taste and we were served the same things daily except at New
Years Eve. Hopefully by next week I will be back in tip top form and able to
share my experiences with everyone more fully. Stay well. Marilyn

*Sounds like you had an awesome trip. I'm so happy
you were able to go and experience this wonderful site. I'm so glad anytime
Spirit touches one and I can imagine with the beauty surrounding you there, that
you'll remember that day and time. Glad anything in my book was able to
contribute to your experience. Margaret Feathers
*Star, Boy, did you ever have a wonderful holiday or what? Son of a gun,
wish I could have been with you! I'll be swimming with the dolphins was
amazing! I've loved dolphins for a long time! And they are so intelligent
too! A friend of ours passed away and his desire was to have his ashes
scattered in the ocean. Well, we went out to sea and did just that.
A school of dolphins followed us out and stayed with us. Each of us tossed
a flower into the water and a dolphin took each of them with the pod! We
made sure
that the flowers and such were ok for dolphins and it was so wonderful to see
them playing in the waves!
Angelhugz and love, Elaine Wishing you the best for 2004!
*It's great to see you back. And I'm happy that you had such
a wonderful time during your trip. *big smile*
