Today's Message: This too shall pass
Received a message from Mountain Wings http://www.mountainwings.com reminding me that "This too shall pass." So I was reminded that whatever happens...will change....that is the only constant we have in life...is change. Then this morning I receive another message from them entitled "There".

Are you "there" yet?
"There" is not necessarily where most think it is.
And when they get where they think "there" was,
"there" is not where or what they thought it would be.

Both these message remind me to be in the moment....whatever it is....experience it because "It too shall pass" and we will get "There" whenever we are supposed to get "There". Enjoy the "Here" and "Now". Peace and God Bless, Marilyn

There is inside you
All of the potential to be whatever

From the Mailbag:

I wanted to share this with you. If you remember, my daughter and sister live in San Diego and while my daughter has not been in the line of the fires, my sister was very close, ready to evacuate until the winds shifted, so thankfully they are all well. We know from the news that there are thousands not so blessed and my sister told me a couple of these stories last night.

While in the process of evacuating, a young man 23, was driving his sisters 21 & 16 to a safe place. He was driving along a road he was told was safe when instantly the winds shifted, blanketing the way with smoke. He couldn't see and crashed the car. The 16 year old was dead on the scene, unable to be rescued from the car. The other sister was rescued from the car, but extensively burned and not expected to survive. Her mother, a nurse, was on duty at the hospital when her daughter arrived and her first sight of her was to see and hear her praying for the Lord to take her as she was in so much pain. The son is on suicide watch due to the trauma of the whole event. The house was also lost to the fires. How life can change on the shift of the wind.

Another story is about an older woman, a widow, whose daughter passed from cancer last year, her dog last week, whose house was destroyed by the fire and on that same day, learned her other children, two sons, both had cancer.

These are only two stories among the thousands that can be told from all
that's happening in CA not to mention the millions that occur around the world. I just wanted to ask for prayer.

***Because of the fires in California, keep those people and their families in your prayers. There are horrible stories of tragedy and loss broadcast but other stories will emerge of courage and strength and neighbor helping neighbor. Marilyn
