Today's Message: The Answers Lie Within.
My therapist has finally helped me realize that the answer to my physical pain
lies within me not outside me. Over the last eight years, I have sought various
answers to my physical pain; looking to doctors and various medical
treatments and alternative medicine for relief. Although some of it has
helped temporarily, it keeps returning. Somehow, the emotions that accompanied
the pain have been stuffed inside and will not let go. So now I am trying to
release the emotions so the physical pain will also release. As a massage
therapist, I understand how the body stores trauma but I had not realized the
reason for mine. Now that I have, I hope that I can release it and the physical
pain will finally abate. It has been a long struggle to uncover the source and
it isn't over yet. Marilyn Dixon Pfanstiel
"That Enlightening Moment" by Warren Redman:
"I recalled a moment right in the middle of one coaching session I had with
a young man who is having the hardest time in his
life right now. He suddenly stopped in mid-sentence, looked intently at me and
said "you know, I am just realizing that I
have all the answers within myself. You have told me nothing, but you have shown
me my own strengths. You are a wise man.
Nobody has ever shown me who I am."
Warren Redman runs the Centre for Inner Balancing, offering Emotional Fitness
