Are you Happy? – Marilyn Dixon Pfanstiel

I was looking in the bookstore for a book by one of
Emerging Courageous Online Magazine authors,
Crumbs in the Keyboard but forgot which author wrote it. LOL
As I was checking out another inspirational book,
The clerk asks the man in front of me,
“Did you find enough to make you happy?”
He shrugged and grunted.
When it was my turn, he repeated the question.
I merrily replied, “I loved your question” smiling
Definitely! Your response made me happy.”
Although I know no one else makes us happy,
His attitude was a pleasure and brought a smile to the start of my day.
As you start your day today,
I hope you find something here to “make you happy.”

THE PRICE TO WIN  - Donna Wallace

It really doesn't take much to win
All one has to do is simply begin.
Winning is as easy as losing can be
Sometimes that's not easy for people to see.
A first baby step and the journey begins
Keep on stepping ahead ensures you the win.
Fight all the battles that may come your way
If you give up then failure's the price you'll pay.
But with perseverance and determination you will
Climb every mountain, cross every hill.
And at the end of your path you'll certainly find
You've finally crossed the winner's line.

Love and Light,
Donna Wallace

HEROES

Heroes one and all are they, the bravest of the brave.
Without a thought to life or limb, their only will, to save.
Mindful of the danger, always lurking near,
Unconditional love within, the opposite of fear,
Inspires courageous hearts to help, and urges them to heed,
The desperate cries from fellow men in times of greatest need.

Rejuvenated!

Decided I needed some time away.
Called my travel agent and said,
“Book me on the first cruise out.”
For a week, we enjoyed being pampered,
Eating luxurious meals, frolicked in the pool,
Loafing on the deck,
Swimming in the crystal clear coves,
Snorkeled along the reefs,
Hiking in the rain forest.
Being energized under a waterfall.
Enjoying phenomenal entertainment.
Eating fantastic deserts!
And loafing.
It was just what the doctor ordered!!!
I came back rejuvenated and revitalized.
Ready to tackle the world
or rather
To be at one with the world.
Peace be with you on your journey,
