Fresh Start -  Marilyn Dixon Pfanstiel
After church Easter Sunday, a friend told me goodbye by saying, “Have a happy new life.” She was referring to the fresh start, rebirth or awakening which occurs at Easter.
When dawn breaks on Easter Sunday, everything is new… including you and me. Easter rekindles hope… “it is a spring tonic, a heavenly B-12 shot, a divine anti-depressant.” “Watch God chase away the darkness that has crept over our lives. No matter where you have been or what you have felt, no matter how low or deep, no matter how down or how far, no matter how or who you are…this day resets your clock. Now you are on God’s time.”
Allow Him to help you “Have a happy new life.” Make it so.
Excerpts from Rev. Bill McDonald of Crestwood Christian Church, Lexington, Kentucky

  From the Mailbag:
* “There is a Higher World and this peaceable kingdom dwells within you. Allow your heart to remind you what the mind so easily forgets: There is a Peace. There is a Shelter. There is a timeless place in each of us that no darkness can shatter or dispel. Make it your one intention to spend your time there. Prefer its ever-present company to that of any promise of peace to come, and watch how your life grows happy and whole in stillness beyond compare.”--- Guy Finley
