Stanley replied looking at Roy "What do you say Roy? She could probably learn more from us then she can in a book. What do you say? She returned." Funny thing happened to me today, when I went to pay on my tuition the accountant said it was paid off. The guys returned two hours later and was headed to the day room when they walked in they seen Amanda still sitting with her head down on the table with her eyes closed"Cap what do you think we should do?" Then standing up to collect her books "You must be real tired,you going to be okay to drive home."Stanley asked "Yeah I'm pretty beat but I think I'm okay."Amanda said covering her mouth to hide a yawn "Amanda why don't you stay here, I don't think I like the idea of you driving home being so sleepy."Johnny said "Yeah Johnny's right your safer here, I don't think it would be proper for you to sleep in the dorm but you can crash on the couch.' Stanley offered "Well maybe your right, If your sure you don't mind." "It's no problem.Stoker could you go get some bedding." "Sure." Soon Amanda was tucked in to bed cuddled with Henry as the guys headed back to the dorm Johnny then walked over to the couch "Good night."Johnny said giving Amanda a kiss on the fore head "Good night."Amanda replied dozing off ............... Soon it was morning and the guys woke up to the smell of bacon and fresh coffee As they stummbled into the day room they found Amanda standing at the stove. "Morning, you sleep okay."Amanda said walking to the refrigerator "Yeah we did, but what do you think your doing?"Captain asked "I thought I would fix you all some breakfast." she said taking the crisp bacon out of the pan "Well thank you but you shouldn't have." "Oh it's okay, why don't you guys sit down eat some breakfast before you go home." "Well okay." Soon Amanda was done fixing breakfast. "Is there anything else I can do for you guys"Amanda said drying her hands off on a dish towel after washing the last of the dishes while Johnny dried "No,like I said before you do way to much already." "Cap I really don't mind if I didn't want to do it I wouldn't."Amanda said picking up her books and purse. "Well thanks for breakfast." "No thanks necassary."Amanda grinned while walking to the doorway "Here I'll walk you out."Johnny said as they headed out of the station "Hey Amanda, the Firemans ball is coming up and I was wondering if you would like to go with me."Johnny said stopping at her Jeep "Oh I don't think so I really don't like crowds, I get scared of crowds."Amanda said hanging her head. "Amanda,You want to tell me about it ?"Johnny asked taking his hand and picked up Amanda's head. "It's just that the last crowd I was in,It was my 10th birthday party and a lot of my friends came from school. My foster mother at that time was pretty fond of the bottle and she got drunk and started calling me names. She said I was evil cause I was born on the 14th of April which is the annerversery of the Titanic sinking. Anyway I lost a lot of my friends that day and I promised myself I was never going put myself through that again."Amanda said as her eyes began to water "It's Okay,I understand."Johnny replied wiping a tear from Amanda cheek.
