Johnny asked as he made his way over to the Captain " Nothing you can start pulling him up." Amanda said as she started to stand. All of a sudden her surrounding started to disappear. Going weak in the knees Amanda fell off the side danging only by the life lines " AMANDA." Johnny screamed in terror as he watched from above. " Cap I'm going down after her." Roy asked " Well we thought it was only right if we are here until we find out what's wrong. And as long as we're in service I figure what the hell." Stanley said watching Johnny sink hard in a chair " I just don't understand it. Everything was going perfect and now this." Johnny said " Gage there's no reason to start thinking the worst." Chet tried to soothe " I know but It's not fair she doesn't deserve this and I'll tell you something else. I would trade places with her in a heart beat." Johnny said ......... "Where am I." " We wont know until we get the blood results. For now just relax." Amanda asked " Oh relax it only takes 9months to get over this disease." Brackett said " Nine months you mean I'm......Doc how can that be I'm on birth control." " Birth control is not 100% fool proof maybe in a bout twenty years it will be but not in the 70's." Brackett said " Are you okay with this?" " Yeah I'm fine but would you tell him. I just want to lay her and soak it all in". " Sure I'll be happy to." Brackett said " Oh I have got to see this. It's not everyday we get to tell the world's most eligable batchler he's going to be a papa." Dixie said leaving the room with Brackett ......... Johnny asked walking up to Brackett " She's fine just relax. She's just suffering from a combanation of being tired and the fact that she's Six weeks Pregnant." " Preg...... Preg.........." Johnny managed before rolling his eyes back then hitting the floor. " Johnny you okay." Roy asked helping Johnny to a chair then watching the rest of his friends almost lose it watching their buddy faint. " Ya I.......Roy......I.......we I mean her.....and I......." For starters I don't want you to work. I make plenty to support you and the baby. I'm not asking you to give up your career you can finish your training but leave the fighting fires to us." Johnny said " Okay it's probably for the best." Amanda said " And the most important thing." Johnny started getting down on one knee. " Will you marry me?" Placing the ring on her finger " Oh Johnny you know I would walk to the ends of the earth to be your wife." Amanda said " You've made me the happiest guy." He said getting up then taking her in his arms. " Amanda are you sure that it's big enough to show you how much I love you?" " What do you mean?" " Well the guy that sold me the ring said that if I really wanted to tell you I love you I would have to buy the bigger one."
