Rolling his eyes Roy dropped into a seat joining the rest " What's up with him?" Chet asked " Do you have to ask it's eleven o'clock." Roy reminded " You know how my partner gets if he misses a day without watching Bugs Bunny." " Oh yeah, Boy talk about someone being obsessed." Chet said over the roaring laughter coming from Johnny " Well are you going to join us for lunch?" Stanley asked " Yeah Cap I just want to watch this first, Man talk about a classic." Johnny said in laughter pointing his finger at the screen. Then getting confortable Johnny leaned back on the couch, totally ingrossed in the television ........... Station 51, structure fire. 5533 Lapu Drive. time out 11: 45 " Station 51 KMG 365." Stanley responded " Stop that, that tickles." An unfamliar voice said startling Johnny " Hey Roy did you hear that?" Johnny asked " No I didn't hear anything." Roy said turning the corner " Watch out ohhhh watch out." The voice said nervously " Now you going to tell me you didn't hear that." Johnny said looking at Roy "Nope now relax. You're going to be fine." Roy said pulling up to the scene ........... Okay Kelly Lopez get a couple of inch and a halfs Gage DeSoto back them up." Stanley ordered " Right Cap." They responded " Oh no not another one of these fires." Chet grumbled " What do you mean?" Johnny asked Without warning his question was answered as he saw small fire flames run from the building. " What the......." Johnny asked shaking his head " Don't let them get away run after them." Captain Stanley said "They can be slippery little suckers. " Running around in circles, Johnny Roy Marco and Chet chased the flames threatening them with their hoses. " NO NO NOT MY BABIES." The fire cried from above.. " I just want to know one thing. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AND WHY ARE WE CHASING THE FIRE?" Johnny asked in a state of panic " Because we have too, after fighting fires for years the fire is fighting back." Chet said spraying the fire flames stopping them in their tracks "NO NO NOT MY BABIES" The fire screamed throwing her flaming arms out .......... Walking back to the squad after all the flames were out Johnny stopped short" No way I must be emagining things." He said to himself. " I did not see the engine wink it's head light at the squad." He repeated to himself looking over to the others." MARCO LOOKOUT." Johnny said watching as a bath tub as ot fell crushing Marco. " Roy Marco's hurt." Johnny said running over to help Stopping as he witnessed as the Captain picked up the iron bathtub by himself with one hand. Shaking off his shock Johnny continnued to walk to Marco." Marco are you okay?" Johnny asked seeing Marco was as flat as a pancake "I'm fine help me up." Marco said struggling to get to his feet " Now wait you are hurt." Johnny said protesting Marco getting on his feet " Oh Johnny, don't worry I'm not hurt, I just got the wind knocked out of me." Marco said Then putting his thumb in his mouth Marco began to blow. In no time at all he was normal size." See I told ya, good as new." ........... " Roy don't you think that was a little strange back there?" Johnny said trying hard to understand " What do you mean?" Roy asked " What do I mean, I mean the way the flames were running away from us and the flame from above was crying, And don't tell it was normal when Marco blew himself up with his thumb. Don't you think it's all strange?" " No not really no more then usual." ........... Sitting down at the table Johnny was trying hard to understand, This can't be real. he thought "Hey what's up doc?" Roy asked grabbing a carrot out of the fridge. then retreating back to the bay. Still sitting at the table, Johnny didn't know what to do. hearing a comotion in the bay Johnny got to his feet. In his search he spotted Roy and Mike aruguing with the Captain. " Oh no it's not its duck season." Roy said pushing the Captain's gun to Mike " Rabbit season." Mike said pushing the gun back to Roy" " Duck." Roy said " Rabbit." Mike said " Rabbit." Roy said " Duck." Mike said "Rabbit." Roy said " Look I said it Duck season and I say shoot the duck now." Mike said POW. Captain's gun goes off shooting Mike. Picking up his face Mike stuck it back on, then walking over to Roy he spoke. " You're dispickable." Witnessing the scene Johnny shook his head." Is there anyone that's normal today or has everyone gone loopy." He said. Walking back into the dayroom spotting Marco " Thank God Marco what is going on here?" He asked " Shhhhhhhh." Marco whispered " Be quite that mean ole putty tat will find me. " The what?" Johnny asked Then without warning Marco looks over to the door. " I taught I taw a putty tat." Marco said turning his head then looking back again" I did I did see a putty tat." "Here birdie birdie." Chet spit walking over to Marco. Getting up Marco started running around the table, his yellow feathers flying everywhere. With Chet hot on his heals chasing him out through the bay. Following Chet and Marco, Johnny stopped once again shaking his head. " Not you two to." He said seeing that the squad and engine sharing a can of 10w 40 motor oil while making passes at each other Turning around the engine looked at Johnny." What are you looking at, You don't exspect us to be parked in the same bay and not have feeling for each other. Do you?"The engine said giving the squad a warm smile then wrapping his quarter panel around the squad " Oh engine stop." The Squad blushed batting her head lights Wittnessing Sylvester chasing Tweety, around the bay. Wittinessing as Daffy duck and Bugs argue over duck season and rabbit season and Elmer threatening to shoot them both. Not to mention the affair the engine and squad were having " THAT'S IT I'M GOING INTO THE DORM." Johnny said throwing his hands in the air. ........... Hey Gage you going to sleep all day." Chet said shaking the sleeping Johnny With a start Johnny woke up.Looking around the room he could see his friends sitting around the table. Then jumping up Johnny ran into the bay seeing that the engine and squad were parked in the bay normal. " You okay Pal." Stanley asked " Yeah I'm great. You all look great, the engine and squad are great, everything is great." Johnny said realizing that it was all a dream " Hey Junior there's a Loony Toon marathon tonight." Roy said " No way Roy I'm not watching another cartoon as long as I live." Johnny swore " What no more cartoons Why?" Roy asked surprised at the sudden change " Well lets face it to much of a good thing can be dangerous." Johnny said The End |
