Sailor Moon- American vs Japanese Version
So, what do I think about the Sailor Moon series? Well, I never watched all of them, but I did watch most of them. I watched the first episodes on a tape my friend taped from the American television show. I watched the newer ones on video and on downloaded files from the internet. Those were the origional Japanese episodes. Some were dubbed but most were subtitled. So, you're probably wondering if there's any difference. I believe so. The story line seems a little different, but probably not by much. As everyone probably knows, the names are different, which gets confusing if you're watching both series. As far as the series goes in all, I've seen better in the graphics and story line, however it's not the worse anime. In all, I like the series whether American or Japanese, but the Japanese version deffinitely has my vote. If you haven't seen the Japanese version, you should, for I think you'll enjoy it if you like the American version. |
