Bridge was lost in January 1956.
There were some homes in Sherbrooke affected.

| This flood affected most of the St. Mary's District. When we returned to school after the flood, our home room teacher Miss Moore asked each of us how the flood affected us. Many of us replied "We live on a hill" . There were some homes in Sherbrooke affected. |
