Tarot Cards is such a Large subject that I'm not going to put much here about them, I'm sorry. I had to include them, however, because they are the form of divination I use most often. They are in fact my most favorite. They seem to be the most accurate. There are many theories and rumors on tarot that I've heard so I will tell you what works for me. Since tarot is divination which of course means you are drawing on your own psychic energy to answer a question or see what lies ahead. Then when I do a reading for someone else I like to let THEM do the handling of the cards. I let them shuffle them and turn them, they are to think about their lives and problems while doing this. I've found it a most effective way of getting a very accurate reading. After they have shuffled and handled, I have them hand the cards to me from anywhere in the deck and I lay them out as they would be facing the querent. I then interpret the cards for them. I think this is a very good way to get an accurate reading. I know some of you would never dream of letting anyone touch your deck and that is fine. This is just my way of doing things. I've also heard a that you shouldn't buy your deck that someone should give it to you. I've bought all of my decks myself and no harm has come to me so I think that this is another silly rumor. I've also been told it is bad luck to do your own reading, well, I don't know about that one. I don't really think so, although I don't do my own very often. LOL. But that's mostly because I really don't want to. I use my talent with Tarot to help friends and family. And I don't do mine because I always second guess myself and am never happy with the results. These are just my thoughts on tarot, you make up your own mind. |
