Runes

Since I've put this alphabet up here I'm going to give the rune meanings in regular alphabet form with the exception of the Wyrd. Runes are a simple form of divination used by lots of people. You can make your own runes and I suggest that you do if you intend to try them out. I like to use the runes when doing candle magick. I usually carve the rune into the candle, I feel that it adds a bit of power to a spell. When casting the runes for divination you would of course ignore the corresponding letter of the alphabet but I included it here because some people like to write their names in runes or spells. Some of the runes are repeated for the alphabet, this isn't a mistake that's just the way it is for this particular runic alphabet. There are plenty more out there than this, by all means find one you like or buy a book on the subject.
The meanings for the runes are as follows:
A: ( Ansuz) Spoken word; taking of advice'aquisition of wisdom; examination.
B: (Beore) Birth; family; true home
C: (Kenaz) Strength; energy; power; opening up; creativity
D: (Daeg) increase and growth
E: (Ehwaz) Physical movement; physical shifts; new dwelling places; gradual development; steady progress
F: (Fehu) Material gain; fulfillment
G: (Gifu) Gift; parntership
H: (Hagall) Limitation; delay; all forces out of your control
I: (Isa) Cesation of activities, cooling trend in a relationship
J: (Jera) Reaping of rewards for efforts expended; justice; legalities
K: The same as C
L: (Legaz) Intuitive knowledge; feminitiy; good memory; success in learning
M: (Mannaz) Independence; humankind
N: (Nied) Patience; passing through a difficult learning situation; think twice; failure; needs
O: (Othel) Possession; ideals; visions; inherited traits
P: (Perdhro) Things hidden; secrets; occult avilities; unexpected gains and surprises
Q: I have no meaning for this one, sorry
R: (Raidho) Travel or movement
S: (Sigel) Victory; great power: great health and vitality
T: (Tir) Successin any competition: extreme motivation; increase in money or power; masculintiy; quick recovery from illness
U: (Uruz) Good health and strength; natural pwers of resistance; masculinity; strong emotions; true will ; changes
V: (Wunjo) Joy; success
W: same as v
X: (Thurisaz) Protection: luck
Y: (Eihwaz) Protection
Z: (Eolh) Fortunate new influence: instincts: freindship: protection
