| July 7, 2005 Well, I haven't written in this journal in five years. LOL. Alot has happened. I started Witches of Missouri, I got divorced from my first husband, I got remarried to Patrick, I now have two little ones, still talk to my steps from the previous marriage, I teach the Craft now to students, am out to my whole family, I am back in college (and on the Dean's list every semester, yay me!), and now am beginning to help a friend start a new coven. Witches of Missouri has grown to 293 members, locally there are around 15 regular attendees of the WOM monthly luncheon. One of my students is working on getting open circles started on the military base and is studying for his fourth degree. My life has changed drastically in five years. When I decided to come down off the fence, stop studying and start being who I really am is when I came into my own. It's true that I think that was a contributing factor to my first marriage ending, I hear my ex husband went and got Jesus. LOL. But I wouldn't have the wonderful man I have now if it wasn't for that. Patrick is the absolute love of my life. He's given me two beautiful kids, a happy life, happy marriage, and a love I didn't know I could have. That is priceless. I hope my ex is happy with whomever he's with now, and I hope that my stepson is even happier because my life is good. It's certainly not easy but it's good. Patrick and I are both in college (doing that as an old adult is not easy at all) and we are half way to graduation. My daughter is two and too cute for words. My son is 4 months old and just as cute. Patrick isn't perfect but he's perfect for me. I'm happy. Blessings, Em |
