Magickal, Mystical, Cats
This page is solely dedicated to Cats. All cats, but in particular my own magickal creatures. Most especially my dear departed P.J. She was my friend and companion for 12 years and I miss her more than words can express. She is a sorely missed member of my family. This page is also still under construction! Be patient, it takes time to do all this.
Since the dawning of time cats have fascinated man. They have been worshipped as gods and condemned for devils. They've been put on pedistals and pampered, they've also been hunted and trapped like fugitives. They are magickal creatures, lovely to look at with independant personalities. I have a theory about people and cats. My theory is that those who hate cats have a control problem, cats cannot be controlled, they have thier own individual personalities.

a Psychic exercise involving cats:
This excercise can be used with any animal but since I'm partial to cats I'm explaining it using a Cat.
What we are efectively going to do here is construct a familiar on the spirit plane. This takes time and dedication and excellent visualization skills. I got this exercise from To Stir a Magick Cauldron by Silver Ravenwolf (I think anyway, even if I didn't it's an excellent book and I reccomend it ). After grounding and centering yourself and reaching a state of peace, begin constructing your cat in your mind's eye. See how it looks from every angle... know the animal inside and out. Give it a personality, how does your cat act? think? respond in situations? After you are comfortable and can easily call up the image of your cat you can ask it to find out information for you.... start small. Maybe ask it to find out what a friend is doing at that moment... check back later and then call your friend and see.
