It's all about.. well.. whatever I feel like it's about that day.
The ball was awesome

Hi all, I figured I'd post about the ball. We had a blast.

Amanda came over yesterday and did my nails. They turned out really good. She painted them silver and put stars/flowers on them. They are really cool, although difficult to type in. LOL. I went and picked Patrick up from work and we went to my mom's to get ready. My mom, for the first time in my entire life, told me I looked pretty! I thought I'd fall over. LOL. I was running late and had to rush my hair, but it turned out good. We met Kerry at Road Ranger and we caravaned up there.

Andre's wasn't hard to find. The room was smaller than I thought it would be so we were packed in there pretty good. Dinner was good and they had an open bar. Since Patrick has been sober for over two years he was busy trying to get me drunk. LOL. Needless to say, he drove home but I didn't get drunk. Getting drunk just isn't my thing. Had a little buzz for a while though.

I felt like cinderella. I had so many compliments on my dress, I couldn't believe it. And my husband was so attentive and made me feel like a goddess. LOL. He kept telling me how good I looked, being sweet, and paying so much attention to me. We danced to a bunch of songs and Patrick even danced to the fast ones. LOL. We did the time warp which was so fun. I love Rocky Horror.  When the Cards won the game the whole place went nuts and they played We are the champions.

There were these two ladies who got up and lip synced to this song. Oh my goodness it was sooooo funny. They were doing this song called the Internet is for Porn. I thought I was gonna die laughing. They should take that act on the road.

The ball was over at midnight but Patrick and I left at eleven. Was a long drive back and the ball was winding down anyway. I think my hubby is trying to get me arrested for indecent exposure, though. LOL. Apparently he liked my dress.. ALOT.. LOL. You'd think at our ages, responsible adult parents of two kids wouldn't behave like teenagers. Not us apparently. LOL. Some trucker got an eye full I'm sure. But you know, if you've been together for a few years and you have kids... if you are still wild enough about each other to do stuff like that.. you should. It keeps things fun, fresh, and exciting. I just hope that ten years or even 20 years from now we are still hot enough for each other to do stuff like that. LOL. Anyway, no one needs the gory details. LOL. Needless to say last night was alot of fun.

They are doing Rocky Horror over at Twilight on Halloween night. We want to go, we never go out to clubs anymore.. not since we had kids and Patrick got sober. But it's Rocky Horror! If my grandma will watch kids after trick or treating we are probably going to go. The trick is to get her to do it, sigh.... she's here all the time and isn't going to want to do it. We'll see.

Blessings,

Em/Natalie
