| Beltane symbolizes the coronation of the God and warming for the coming summer. It's a time for sexuality (traditionally marriages of a year and a day were partaken at this time), blooming plant life, passion, and life. The maypole is used at this time, flowers and ribbons decorate everything. Magickal workings for this time are for sexuality, fertility, love (remember the rules!), embracing new ways and new ideas. It's a wonderful time for handfastings, birth, and change. |
